2008 Tournaments

The summer tournament season is the most important for team bonding and exposure to the best lacrosse players in the country. CC Lax will participate in over 18 tournaments that provide top competition in a FUN and well-run event. To BE the best . . . you must PLAY the BEST !

Champions Cup – June 13-14 (2009), Philadelphia, PA
National Draw – June 20 -21 (2012-14), June 21-22 (2011-2009) in Marlton, NJ
Capitol Cup – June 21-22 (2009), Gaithersburg, MD
All Star Express – July17-18 (2012-14), July 18-20 (2011-2009) at Kent Island HS/ Love Point Park
Galaxy Nationals ¬ July 25-27 (All classes) Philadelphia

All athletes will meet 45 minutes prior to the first competition ready to play at the designated field.
All players will be ready to “PLAY” – dressed in current uniform, taped, warmed-up, stretched, goggles & shoes on, mouth-guards in 15 minutes before whistle to start game. This will be the sole responsibility of EACH individual player.

Tournament Philosophy—The amount of playing time in tournaments will be determined by the coach. Attendance, or lack thereof, may affect your playing time or position of choice.

Positioning, strategy and all other executive decisions will be determined by the coach.
All athletes will get a fair opportunity to compete, which may not mean equal playing time. Our philosophy has changed as we strive for equality of field time, a manageable roster size and an increase in FUN.

The structure of the team competing at each tournament will be specified on signup.
I = Intact teams – Assigned team. We expect your participation.
G = Grad year teams – on grade mix-ALL levels
M = Total mix – while this is rare, it is fun when it happens.

Required tournaments: National Draw, All Star Express, Galaxy Nationals.
If you choose to not play in National Draw, you will not play in All Star Express.
If you choose to not play at Galaxy Nationals, you will not play in Mid-Atlantic.
